Wonder From
Down Under
Heating Instructions
for Herbal Packs
(back
to Instructions)
Microwave:
The Lavender Eye
Pillow - Heat
for 30 - 40 seconds
The Herbal Foot
Warmer - Heat
for 1 1/2 minutes
All of the other
packs can be heated
between 2 - 3
minutes. If
microwave does not
have a turntable,
flip Wonder Herb
Pack over halfway
through heating so
it does not get a
hot spot. Heat will
last between 20 - 45
minutes, depending
on the size of the
pack. Heating times
will vary depending
on the microwave.
Conventional
Oven:
Heat oven to 350
degrees and wrap
Wonder Herbal Pack
in tin foil. Heat
for 15 to 20
minutes. Do not heat
the belted lumbar
pack in a
conventional oven,
as the velcro straps
will melt.
For Moist Heat:
Mist lightly with a
water bottle before
heating. This
provides moist heat,
which penetrates
better, and also
preserves the
freshness of the
herbs the longest.
Cold Herbal Pack:
Place in a plastic
bag and place in the
freezer for 1 - 2
hours.
Cool Wrap (non
herbal pack):
Submerge in ice
water for forty-five
minutes before use.
The polychromite
crystals inside the
middle section will
expand into a cool
gel. Then tie around
the neck. After use,
just keep in a zip
lock bag until
needed again. Repeat
instructions, and
the Cool Wrap will
expand again in
preparation for
wearing.
TIPS:
To clean the
Wonder Herbal Pack,
wipe with a damp
cloth and lay flat
to dry.
To help preserve
the freshness of the
herbs, store in a
ziplock bag in a dry
cool place. Some
people like to store
the packs in their
freezers.
Do not overheat.
Overheating may
cause burns and will
harm the herbs
inside.
Customers with
pre-existing
conditions
should consult a
physician prior to
use.
Use a cold
Wonder Lavender Eye
Pack for puffy
eyes in the morning.
