Wonder From
Down Under
Instructions for
Sinus Congestion
and Sinus Headaches
(back
to Instructions)
Apply one or two
sprays of our
Australian Oil of
Eucalyptus to a
cotton ball or some
tissue paper. Then
with regular
breaths, breathe in
through the nose and
out through the
mouth. Do this for
at least 1 – 3
minutes. Eucalyptus
is a naturally
powerful
decongestant.
Initially, it is
possible that the
vapor will make your
eyes water. It may
additionally cause
some coughing. This
is not an uncommon
reaction and is only
momentary.
For severe cases,
heat up a Lavender
Eye Pillow. Like
eucalyptus, lavender
is also a natural
decongestant. Heat
up the lavender eye
pillow and place it
across the bridge of
your nose. Place
your head back and,
again, breathe in
through your nose
and out through your
mouth. Keep the
cotton ball with the
eucalyptus placed
under your nose
while doing this.
Additional Tips:
Before heating the
Lavender Eye Pillow,
mist it with some
water.
This will accomplish
two things for you.
One, this will give
you more
deep-penetrating
vapor-action on the
lavender when you
are breathing it.
Two, misting will
also help keep the
lavender fresher
longer.
For those with
chronic sinuses, you
can put a spray of
the Australian Oil
of Eucalyptus on
each side of your
pillow case before
you go to bed at
night. This allows
you to breathe it
while you are
sleeping to help you
get a great nights
rest. The oil will
not stain your
normal pillow cases
(do not use the oil
on silk).
Add a few drops of
Australian Oil of
Eucalyptus to your
vaporizer. This
should make
breathing easier
almost immediately.
